Working Principle of Adsorption

1.Purification Principle of Paint Mist

Although paint mist has been treated by drencher cabinet, there is a necessity to install a paint mist filter in front of an activated carbon adsorption bed, which not only is used to treat particles of paint mist, but also protects activated carbon, so that it can prevent fine particles passing through the drencher cabinet from blocking activated carbon and causing impacts on life of activated carbon. By integrating filter of paint mist and activated carbon adsorption, the machine compact in structure can obtain the expectant use effect, and there is no impact on performance of machine. We adopt glass fiber flame-retardant filter material having high purification efficiency and no secondary pollution for further filter of particles, a dry paint mist filter material specially designed as characteristics of paint mist purification, compounded by multilayer of glass fiber and several layers of immersed resin for playing the role of support, with increasing density along with thickness. In filter, multi-layer fiber will intercept, collide and disperse particles to adsorb them when waste gas passes through. The dry filter material of this kind also achieves high efficiency and large capacity by multilayer superposition. Therefore, we make use of special paint mist filter material imported from USA, which is featured by high combined purification efficiency, large capacity (8kg-10kg/m2), easy cleaning, low operation cost and no secondary pollution, and can be cleaned or replaced as reading of differential pressure meter (>300Pa). Filter material full of particles can be repeatedly used by simple cleaning (by beating or dust collection).

2、Introduction to Equipment Purification Principle

It is one of the most effective treatment measures to adsorb organic waste gas by utilizing the porous adsorption property of activated carbon; one specific embodiment is to adopt specially-shaped honeycomb activated carbon as adsorption material. Activated carbon is a general name for carbon-based materials with adsorptive property, can increase specific surface area to 700-1000m2/g after activating treatment, and shows excellent and wide adsorptive property. As a nonpolar adsorbent, activated carbon has some hydrophobic/organophilic substances which can adsorb most of organic gases like benzenes, aldehyde ketones, alcohols, hydrocarbons and malodorous substances. Meanwhile, because of wide range of pore diameter, activated carbon shows excellent adsorptive property for some polar substances and some extra macromolecular organic matters, for example in the treatment of noxious gases like SO2, NOX, Cl2, H2S and CO2. Our high-grade honeycomb activated carbon has stable performance, anticorrosion and high-speed gas shock endurance, and can improve purification efficiency by 90% in treatment of organic waste gas, but it is necessary to change it regularly due to its saturability.
